What services do you offer?

All services are bespoke. I provide sports massage therapy, personalised 1-to-1 Pilates lessons, Pilates therapy for specific injury, and private yoga tuition.

How can sports massage therapy help me?

Sports massage therapy aids recovery. It helps to relieve aches, pains, muscular tension, and sports-related injuries while enhancing flexibility and promoting healing. Regular therapy will help prevent injury, and may improve sports performance. Sports massage therapy is for everybody, and can help relieve postural pain, work related muscle strain, and other musculoskeletal problems, including sciatica and nerve impingement.

What is the focus of Pilates Therapy?

Pilates Therapy focuses on regaining normal function and strength around a joint, following injury. Specific exercises, using the Pilates method and equipment, help to improve stability and proprioception. 

Are your Pilates sessions personalised?

Yes, I offer 1-to-1 Pilates tuition for both beginners and those at intermediate level. Lessons are, tailored to your needs and requirements. Following initial consultation and introduction to the Pilates method and equipment, you will be personally instructed through a course of six, weekly sessions, specifically designed for you.

How can yoga benefit me?

Yoga is for everybody, and can help in many ways. Yoga, quite simply, makes you feel good. It can change your energy and help reduce anxiety. Yoga is soothing and helps you become more mindful. I am a yoga teacher with life experience, and have found the practise of yoga to be life enriching. Yoga asana, or postures, are a small part of the whole practise of Yoga. Through the physical practice of Yoga, I will help you experience a true connection with your ‘self’.

What qualifications do you have?

 I am a fully certified Pilates therapist, Active IQ endorsed, Stott Pilates teacher,  an ITEC level 5 qualified sports massage therapist, and a IYN certified yoga teacher, with over 12 years of experience.

Are you a member of a professional organisation that is registered in the UK?

Yes, I am, a full member of the STA (Sports Therapy Association), and member of the WMC (World Massage Council).

Who do you cater to?

My clients include professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, menopausal women, labourers, office workers, and anyone seeking relief from shoulder strain, neck or backache, joint pain, or wanting to increase their flexibility and strength.

Can you describe your approach to treatment?

I employ a range of manual techniques tailored to each client's unique situation, ensuring personalised care for every individual. I do not use any third party tools to manipulate muscle. Varying pressure is applied in accordance with each individual.

How much experience do you have?

I have 4 years experience working in various clinic environments. Clinics include physiotherapy, osteopathy and sports therapy.
